Project SEEN — Journal
It is an immense pleasure and relief to finally go live with Project SEEN, after about two months nurturing it like a passion project. This is a learning project that significantly pushed my understanding of app dev and a server stack, fueled by my rampant frustrations with AI and internet unreality. If you'd like to learn more about what's motivated it check the journals I wrote below, and if you want more of the technical details just check the pages in the banner up top.
The AI insanity - What this has to do with the still-rising tide of AI and how it inspired the concept of struggling to be "seen"
Our panotpicon society - How surveillance ties into all tech, especially AI, unavoidably, and directly relates to how I wanted to foil the compulsion to monetize everything with this concept.
Anticipatory theater - Airing out my long-time frustrations with social media and the double-edged performativity on such a wide scale which so neatly fits with project SEEN.
"Curiosity" - Finally, a sort of amalgamation of all three of my politicized motivators, this one's what's intrinsically behind my drive to be able to connect to people without superficiality or third parties between us.
